As you probably have already guessed, yes, we did another paint night. Before that though, we went a walk together which had some laughs and a mini scare that ended up turning into a walk to remember.
We decided to go to the University of Redlands and walk around the campus. My heart racing, I figured, okay now is the time – I’m going to hold her hand. As we walked, I did the casual hand graze, asked her if I could hold her hand and from there, we held hands throughout our walk.
Edit: I’m adding this in post-publish. Till this day, we hold hands while in the car and walking together. Something I find very special. Even if we have a disagreement, we remind each other of that special moment, a moment to remember.
Here are some photos from our walk
As we continued on our walk, we stopped by the University of Redlands courtyard and sat down and chatted a bit more. Next to where we were sitting was a flowerbed of white camelia flowers (there is a reason why we know the exact flower lol). So, I see the flowerbed and pluck a flower and place it behind her ear and take a photo of her. It still is one of my favorite photos of her.
Anyway, sometime later, she notices her ear is itching a bit. Her ear appears to be red and warm. Apparently, she had some type of mild reaction to the flower. We end up looking up what type of flower it was and find out it was a white camelia which apparently does have the tendency to cause mild skin irritation (man, trying to be romantic is difficult 😂). In any case, thankfully everything was fine and we eventually went to our second paint night…
Our next adventure is one that would definitely be note-worthy and high-steaks!
