So as you probably have figured out, there is no special breakfast place and we’re not going to the aquarium.
I’m writing this the night before although I’ve prepared what I’m going to say from the earliest moments of our relationship. And all that I can say is how much I love you. You are a part of me and I am so blessed to have you in my life.
I’m writing this down because it might be tough for me to say it tomorrow.
Amanda…
You are everything and more than what I could imagine. I just wished we would have met sooner so that we could spend more of our life together however God had us meet at the opportune time for the both of us. Nevertheless, we have this lifetime to seek the kingdom of God together passing from this fleeting world to eternity with our beloved creator.
I promise to love you with a sacrificial love just as Christ gave himself for the church. I vow to care for you to the best of my ability just as Abraham cared for Sarah and to always seek to delight your heart as Boaz brought joy to Ruth.
As I kneel before you and God, asking you to spend your life with me and walk the path of salvation together, I pray that Christ be at the center of our relationship with one another so that by loving Him more, we learn to love each other more and as we love each other, we learn to love Him more.
P.S. Thanks for waking up early. Logistics had me plan for an early proposal. Here’s to many more engagements…
